11 DCPs Shifted In Delhi

Indian Masterminds Stories

The home department of Delhi government shifted 11 DCPs (deputy commissioner of police), on Thursday. The list includes three women IPS officers too.

2010 batch IPS officers Shweta Chauhan (DCP central) and Esha Pandey (DCP south east), have been appointed as DCP general administration and DCP traffic respectively, says the order issued by Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena. While 2011-batch officer Sanjay Kumar Sain and 2012-batch Rajesh Deo will take charge as DCP Central and DCP south east respectively.

2011 batch IPS officer Usha Rangnani has been transferred as DCP (special branch) from DCP (northwest). She will be replaced by Jitendra Kumar Meena, a 2012 batch IPS who was posted in the economic offence wing (EOW).

DCP outer-north Devesh Kumar Mahla has been transferred to the IGI airport unit. Ravi Kumar Singh, who was looking after the IGI airport, has been appointed as the new DCP of outer-north district.

Additional DCP of northeast district Ankit Kumar Singh has been transferred as DCP crime branch whereas Joy N Tirkey, a 2011-batch IPS officer will now lead the northeast district.
