The Gujarat government has announced a significant bureaucratic reshuffle involving the transfer of 17 IAS and 1 IP&TAFS officer across various departments and districts. The changes include key appointments such as Mr. D.D. Jadeja taking charge as Mission Director of the Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission and Mr. N.V. Upadhyay being posted as the new Collector of Gir-Somnath.

Mr. D.D. Jadeja (2012-batch IAS officer) has been transferred from his post as Collector, Gir-Somnath, and appointed as Mission Director, Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission under the Science & Technology Department. Mr. N.V. Upadhyay (2013-batch IAS officer), who was serving as Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Gandhinagar, has been appointed Collector, Gir-Somnath.
Mr. Nitin V. Sangwan (2016-batch IAS officer), District Development Officer, Junagadh, has been appointed as Director of Employment and Training, Gandhinagar, relieving Mr. K.D. Lakhani of additional charge.
Mr. C.C. Kotak (2018-batch IAS officer) has been transferred from the post of Deputy Director, Regional Training Centre (SPIPA), Mehsana, and appointed Deputy Director General, Sardar Patel Institute of Public Administration (SPIPA), Ahmedabad.
Ms. V.I. Patel (2019-batch IAS officer), Joint Secretary, Gujarat Public Service Commission, Gandhinagar, has been appointed as Additional Commissioner and Ex-officio CEO, Gujarat Municipal Finance Board, Gandhinagar.
Ms. P.A. Ninama (2020-batch IAS officer), Deputy Commissioner in the Office of the Commissioner of Rural Development, has been posted as Director (Women Welfare) and Managing Director, Gujarat Women Economic Development Corporation, Gandhinagar, relieving Ms. Rita Pandya of additional charge.
Mr. B.M. Patel (2021-batch IAS officer), Director, DRDA Dahod, has been appointed as Regional Commissioner of Municipalities, Gandhinagar.
Mr. J.K. Jadav (2021-batch IAS officer), Director, DRDA Narmada-Rajpipla, has been posted as Executive Director, Gujarat State Tribal Development Residential Educational Institution Society (GSTDREIS), Gandhinagar, relieving Mr. Supreet Singh Gulati of additional charge.
Mr. R.V. Vala (2021-batch IAS officer), Chief Administrative Officer, GWSSB Gandhinagar, has been appointed as Additional Development Commissioner, Gandhinagar.
Mr. N.F. Chaudhari (2021-batch IAS officer), Resident Additional Collector, Junagadh, has been appointed as Managing Director, Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Ltd., Mehsana, relieving Mr. Ajay Prakash of additional charge.
Mr. H.P. Patel (2021-batch IAS officer), Officer on Special Duty to the Chief Minister, has been posted as District Development Officer, Junagadh.

Ms. Preeti Sharma (2017-batch IP&TAFS officer), Joint Managing Director, PGVCL Rajkot, has now been appointed as Director (Administration), Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd., Vadodara, relieving Mr. Tejas Parmar of additional charge.
