2 IAS Officers Reshuffled at Key Administrative Posts in Gujarat, Sangeeta Govindbhai Raiyani Made MD, Gujarat Urban Livelihood Mission

In a fresh bureaucratic reshuffle, the Government of Gujarat has reassigned two 2020-batch IAS officers to new administrative roles, as per an official notification issued by the General Administration Department on May 21, 2025.

Ms. Sangeeta Govindbhai Raiyani, IAS, who was serving as Supernumerary Additional Collector in Kheda, has been appointed as the Managing Director of the Gujarat Urban Livelihood Mission in Gandhinagar. Her appointment relieves Ms. V.I. Patel, IAS, from the additional charge of the post.

In another significant move, Mr. Rohitbhai Nanubhai Dodiya, IAS, formerly posted as Supernumerary Additional Collector in Sabarkantha-Himmatnagar, has been appointed as the Additional Industries Commissioner in Gandhinagar. He replaces Mr. K.C. Sampat, IAS, who had been holding the position as an additional charge.

These appointments reflect the state government’s ongoing efforts to streamline administrative leadership and strengthen governance in key sectors.
