Raipur, Chhattisgarh: In a significant administrative move, the Chhattisgarh government has transferred and promoted nine Indian Police Service (IPS) officers across various districts and battalions. The official list of transfers was released late Wednesday evening, signaling a notable reshuffle in the state’s law enforcement leadership.
Narayanpur Sees Major Changes
The Superintendent of Police (SP) of Narayanpur, Prabhat Kumar, has been transferred to the Police Headquarters at Nava Raipur. In his place, ASP Robinson Guria, who was serving as the Additional SP in Narayanpur, has now been promoted and appointed as the SP of the district.

Prabhat Kumar: Transferred from SP Narayanpur to SP, Police Headquarters Nava Raipur.
Vikas Kumar: Promoted from Assistant Inspector General of Police to SP, Police Headquarters Nava Raipur (Special Intelligence Branch).
Pooja Kumar: Formerly Additional SP, Dantewada, appointed as SP (Radio), Bilaspur.
Mayank Gurjar: Earlier Additional SP, Bijapur, made Commander, 15th Battalion, Chhattisgarh Armed Force, Bijapur.
Sandeep Kumar Patel: Additional SP, Bhanupratappur, becomes Commander, 16th Battalion, CAF, Narayanpur.
