In a significant move to enhance administrative capacity across ministries, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the empanelment of 36 officers for Joint Secretary or equivalent posts in the Government of India. The decision was finalized on Friday, September 19, 2025, and spans multiple services, reflecting the government’s commitment to cross-sectoral expertise and policy leadership.
