Mumbai: Bank of Baroda (BoB) has appointed Rakesh Nema as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO), strengthening the bank’s technology leadership as it continues to accelerate digital transformation and innovation.
According to a regulatory filing submitted to the stock exchanges, the appointment became effective on August 5, 2026. Rakesh Nema has been appointed as Chief General Manager (CGM) and Chief Technology Officer at the bank’s Corporate Centre in Mumbai.
The appointment was disclosed as part of the bank’s notification regarding changes in Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) and Functional Heads under the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

- Master’s degree in Science.
- Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA).
