Bengaluru: BEML Ltd has appointed Savitri Yadav as its new Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, effective August 7, 2026. She succeeds Urmi Chaudhury and brings more than 17 years of post-qualification experience in corporate law, SEBI regulations and company secretarial functions.
Bengaluru: State-owned engineering company BEML Ltd has appointed Savitri Yadav as its new Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, effective August 7, 2026.
The appointment was approved by the company’s Board of Directors during its meeting and subsequently disclosed to the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE in compliance with applicable SEBI Listing Regulations.
Savitri Yadav Takes Charge at BEML
Savitri Yadav assumed charge as Company Secretary and Compliance Officer on August 7, 2026.
Her appointment brings extensive experience in corporate secretarial functions, securities regulations and company law to BEML’s senior management.
She will be responsible for supporting the company’s compliance and corporate governance framework and ensuring adherence to applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

Who is Savitri Yadav?
Savitri Yadav is a Commerce graduate and qualified Company Secretary. She is a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
She has more than 17 years of post-qualification experience in areas including:
- Company secretarial functions
- SEBI regulations and securities laws
- Corporate and general company law
- Regulatory compliance
- Corporate governance
Her experience in these areas is expected to support BEML’s continued focus on regulatory compliance and governance standards.
Savitri Yadav Succeeds Urmi Chaudhury
Yadav succeeds Urmi Chaudhury, who previously served as BEML’s Company Secretary and Compliance Officer.
The change took effect from August 7, 2026, ensuring continuity in the company’s secretarial and compliance functions.
BEML has formally notified the stock exchanges about the management change as required under applicable SEBI regulations.
