Bengaluru: Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) has appointed Prakash Rajpurohit, Joint Secretary (DIP), Ministry of Defence, as a Part-Time Official Director (Government Director) on its Board.
The appointment was approved by the Ministry of Defence, Department of Defence Production, and is effective from September 17, 2026, until further orders.
Rajpurohit has been appointed in place of Meera Mohanty, Joint Secretary (P&C).
Prakash Rajpurohit Appointed to BDL Board
The Department of Defence Production conveyed the Competent Authority’s approval through Office Memorandum No. 8(29)/2026-D(Coord/DDP), dated September 17, 2026.
Following the approval, Rajpurohit will serve as a Part-Time Official Director on the BDL Board until further orders.

Rajpurohit has been appointed to the BDL Board in place of Meera Mohanty, Joint Secretary (P&C).
The appointment became effective on September 17, 2026, and Rajpurohit will continue as Part-Time Official Director until further orders.
The appointment follows the approval of the Competent Authority communicated by the Department of Defence Production.
BDL Compliance and SEBI Details
Bharat Dynamics Limited stated that the appointment complies with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
