New Delhi: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has been honoured with the prestigious Rajbhasha Keerti Puraskar for outstanding implementation of Hindi in official work.
The award was conferred by the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, under the Rajbhasha Keerti Puraskar scheme.
This year, BHEL received the second prize in the category of Public Sector Enterprises located in ‘A Region’, recognising its efforts towards effective implementation and promotion of Hindi across the organisation.
BHEL Receives Rajbhasha Award in Navi Mumbai
The award was presented during the Hindi Diwas celebrations and the 6th All India Rajbhasha Conference held in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, on September 14, 2026.
Tajinder Gupta, Director (Power) and holding additional charge of Human Resources at BHEL, received the award from Bandi Sanjay Kumar, Minister of State for Home Affairs.
Nityanand Rai, Minister of State for Home Affairs, was also present on the stage during the ceremony.
