Har Ghar Tiranga: CM Bhupendra Patel Flags Off Tiranga Yatra in Gandhinagar, Calls for ‘Har Dil Tiranga’

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Monday called upon citizens to transform the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign into a wider “Har Dil Tiranga” mass movement while flagging off a Tiranga Yatra in Gandhinagar.

The Tiranga Yatra, organised by the Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation and district administration, witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, young people and citizens carrying the national flag.

The nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga campaign is being observed from August 9 to 17, inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with the aim of encouraging citizens to express their commitment and contribution towards the nation.

2.4-Km Tiranga Yatra Begins From G-6 Circle

The 2.4-kilometre Tiranga Yatra began from G-6 Circle in Gandhinagar and concluded at the Akshardham Temple.

The event featured several cultural and patriotic performances, creating an enthusiastic atmosphere throughout the procession.

Key attractions included:

  • Cultural programmes.
  • Police Band performances.
  • Nashik Dhol performances.
  • The Police Department’s ‘Daredevils Show’.
  • Large-scale participation by students, youth and citizens carrying the Tricolour.

CM Bhupendra Patel flagged off the Yatra in the presence of State BJP President Jagdish Vishwakarma, Education Minister Dr Pradyuman Vaja, MLAs and senior government officials, including Chief Secretary MK Das.

CM Bhupendra Patel Highlights Sacrifice of Freedom Fighters

Addressing the gathering, CM Bhupendra Patel said the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign has been launched across the country to celebrate India’s hard-won freedom and ensure that the sacrifices of freedom fighters are never forgotten.

He described the Tiranga Yatra as a symbol of national unity and integrity.

The Chief Minister said that when citizens participate in the Yatra with the Tricolour in their hands and patriotism in their hearts, they contribute to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Ek Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat.”

CM Calls for ‘Nation First’ Spirit

CM Patel emphasised that the Tiranga Yatra provides an opportunity for the younger generation to understand the sacrifices, dedication and commitment of freedom fighters.

He said the lives of freedom fighters should inspire citizens to develop a strong “Nation First” spirit.

The Chief Minister also called upon citizens to use the occasion to strengthen their commitment towards nation-building.

Call to Build Viksit Bharat by 2047

CM Bhupendra Patel said citizens should use the Tiranga Yatra as an opportunity to commit themselves to the goal of building a Viksit Bharat by 2047.

He urged people to dedicate themselves to the nation and contribute towards taking India to greater heights with a strong “Nation First” resolve.

Gandhinagar Mayor Highlights Importance of Tricolour

Gandhinagar Mayor Mira Patel, in her welcome address, described the National Flag as a symbol of India’s pride, unity, integrity and valour.

She said the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is helping strengthen patriotic sentiments among citizens.

The Mayor urged citizens to reinforce their “Nation First” commitment through the Tiranga Yatra and reaffirm their dedication to the country’s unity and integrity.

Students and Youth Join Tiranga Yatra

A large number of students, youth and citizens participated enthusiastically in the Gandhinagar Tiranga Yatra.

Carrying the Tricolour and expressing their patriotism, participants turned the 2.4-kilometre procession into a vibrant display of national pride.

The event highlighted the message of unity, patriotism and collective responsibility while encouraging citizens to contribute towards the vision of a stronger and Viksit Bharat.
