In a minor reshuffle, two Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officers were transferred and posted with a new charge.
The order includes 1988 batch IRS officer, Alok Tewari, who has been promoted to the grade of Principal Chief Commissioner/ Principal Director General of Customs and Indirect Taxs in the Indian Revenue Services (Customs & Indirect Taxes) against the panel year 2021 on in situ basis.
Secondly, 2005 batch IRS officer Ubhap Sengraj was appointed as CVO of Sports Authority of India under the Department of Sports for an initial period of three years.
