Preparations have been started for holding a meeting of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) to give the gift of promotion on the new year to more than 100 IAS officers of Uttar Pradesh. The appointment department has sought time to conduct the DPC on December 27 or 28. After promotion, the order will be issued on January 1.
Mahendra Prasad Agrawal, Dr. Hariom, Dr. Shanmuga Sundaram MK and Kamini Chauhan Ratan of 1997 batch are to be promoted from secretary to the post of principal secretary. 2006 batch officer Kaushal Raj Sharma, Dr. Sarika Mohan, Zuher Bin Sagir, Selva Kumari J, Pranjal Yadav, Dr. Hrishikesh Bhaskar Yashod, Abhishek Prakash, Rajendra Pratap Singh, Rajendra Prasad, Rajendra Pratap Pandey, Shahid Manjar, Abbas Rizvi and Shakuntala Gautam will be promoted from special secretary to secretary.
Apart from this, 39 IAS officers of 2009 batch will be given selection grade from Junior Administrative Grade. 31 officers of the year 2013 batch will be given Junior Administrative Grade Pay from the Senior Time Scale.
