Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai Announces ₹1 Lakh Reward for Board Exam Toppers After Strong 10th and 12th Results

State records 77.15% (Class 10) and 83.04% (Class 12) pass rates; CM praises students, teachers and encourages unsuccessful candidates to try again

Raipur: Vishnu Deo Sai has announced a ₹1 lakh cash reward for students who topped the Class 10 and 12 board examinations in the state. The announcement came after the declaration of results by the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education on Wednesday.

Board Exam Results Declared with Strong Performance

The Chhattisgarh Board announced results for both Class 10 and Class 12 examinations, recording strong overall performance.

  • Class 10 pass percentage: 77.15%
  • Class 12 pass percentage: 83.04%

The Chief Minister congratulated all successful students and praised teachers and parents for their contribution to the results.

₹1 Lakh Incentive for Board Toppers

CM Sai stated that students securing top positions in the board examinations will be awarded ₹1 lakh as a state incentive.

He said the government aims to encourage academic excellence and motivate students to perform better in future examinations.

Girls Outperform Again in Board Exams

In a post on X, the Chief Minister highlighted that girls have once again delivered outstanding results, showcasing their growing academic strength and confidence.

He also noted that students from remote and tribal regions have secured positions in the merit list, proving that talent is not limited by geography or resources.

Education Key to Chhattisgarh’s Development

CM Sai emphasized that the success of students reflects:

  • Hard work and discipline
  • Dedication and consistent effort
  • Support from teachers and families

He said these achievements will strengthen the foundation of a developed Chhattisgarh and a developed India.

Message for Students Who Did Not Pass

The Chief Minister also addressed students who could not clear the exams, urging them not to lose confidence.

He encouraged them to:

  • Stay positive
  • Continue working hard
  • Reattempt with full determination

He assured that perseverance will eventually lead to success.

Deputy CM Also Extends Wishes

Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao also congratulated successful students and advised unsuccessful candidates to prepare again with renewed confidence.

The announcement reflects the state government’s focus on promoting education, rewarding merit, and encouraging youth empowerment as part of its broader development agenda.
