Raipur: The Budhapara Outdoor Stadium in Raipur came alive today with the roar of engines, adrenaline, and unparalleled excitement as the National Supercross Bike Racing Championship 2025 unfolded. The championship drew professional riders from across India and thousands of spectators, transforming the event into a spectacular national-level motorsport festival.

CM Vishnu Deo Sai Addresses the Crowd

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai addressed the large gathering, highlighting the championship as more than just a race. He said the event is a celebration of youth power, discipline, courage, and responsibility, inspiring young people to channel their energy positively.

He added, “Just as the aerobatic show during the Silver Jubilee celebrations inspired patriotism in the skies, this Supercross Championship is giving wings to the passion of our youth on the ground.”

Boosting Sports Infrastructure and Tourism in Chhattisgarh

CM Sai spoke about the state government’s commitment to developing sports infrastructure, promoting sports tourism, and encouraging motor sports as a professional field. The championship, organized by the Chhattisgarh Motor Sports Association, is helping the state gain national recognition in motorsports while opening up new opportunities for aspiring riders.

The championship featured over 100 professional riders from across India, showcasing exceptional skill, courage, and competitive spirit. CM Sai encouraged all participants to demonstrate their abilities safely while enjoying the thrill of competition.

The event was attended by Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Minister Guru Khushwant Saheb, Lok Sabha MP Brijmohan Agrawal, MLA Anuj Sharma, and Ujjwal Deepak, President of the Chhattisgarh Motor Sports Association, along with numerous local representatives and thousands of spectators.
