Raipur/Jashpur: Under the leadership of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, women empowerment and modernisation of agriculture are gaining momentum in Chhattisgarh. Women from self-help groups (SHGs) in Jashpur district are emerging as a new symbol of progress through advanced skill training under the Namo Drone Didi Scheme.
These selected women are currently undergoing specialised drone operation and remote pilot training at ITM University in Raipur.

The initiative reflects the state government’s commitment to integrating women with modern technology and expanding employment opportunities in rural areas.
Strengthening Technology-Driven Agriculture in Jashpur
According to the Deputy Director of Agriculture, Jashpur, the trained women will soon operate across various development blocks, offering tech-enabled agricultural services to farmers.
The programme is expected to:

- Increase agricultural efficiency
- Enhance crop yield and productivity
- Strengthen women-led self-help group economies
Major Step Toward Rural Economic Empowerment
The district administration and agriculture department believe that this initiative will play a crucial role in promoting technology-based farming in Jashpur. It will also strengthen the financial independence of women self-help groups while contributing to increased farmer incomes in the region.
Under the vision of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Chhattisgarh continues to advance towards a model of women-led rural development powered by innovation and modern agricultural practices.
