Nava Raipur: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Friday unveiled the new logo of the Chhattisgarh Housing Board and Infrastructure Development Board during a state-level housing fair held in Nava Raipur. The event also included a lucky draw for beneficiaries and recognition of winners with attractive prizes.
The Chief Minister congratulated the selected beneficiaries and extended his best wishes, emphasizing the government’s continued focus on providing affordable and quality housing to citizens across the state.
Housing Board’s Role in Quality Urban Development
CM Vishnu Deo Sai stated that the Chhattisgarh Housing Board is not only engaged in building houses but is also playing a key role in improving the living standards of citizens and contributing to the vision of a developed Chhattisgarh.
He said the board will continue to strengthen its role in ensuring better housing facilities and improving urban infrastructure across the state.
New Logo Reflects Vision and Transformation
During the event, the Chief Minister unveiled the new logo of the Housing and Infrastructure Development Board, calling it a symbol of a new vision and modern working approach.
The designer of the logo, Anshul Kashyap, was awarded a prize of ₹2.50 lakh for his contribution, marking recognition of creative excellence in state branding.
Attractive Prizes Distributed in Housing Fair Lucky Draw
The state-level housing fair 2025 featured a lucky draw for beneficiaries who booked houses. Winners received a range of prizes including:
- Car (First prize won by Pooja Bareth from Sarangarh)
- Scooty
- Refrigerator
- Washing machine
- LED TV
The initiative aimed to encourage participation in housing schemes and promote citizen engagement in government projects.
Strong Growth in Housing Board Revenue and Projects
The Chief Minister highlighted that in the last two years, the Housing Board has:
- Sold over 7,000 properties
- Generated revenue exceeding ₹1,500 crore
He said this strong financial performance has improved the board’s capacity to undertake large infrastructure projects in the future.
18 Lakh PM Awas Approved, Rapid Construction Underway
CM Sai noted that in the first cabinet meeting after the government formation, approval was given for 18 lakh Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) houses.
He added that:
- Millions of families have already received completed houses
- Construction of new houses continues daily across the state
He also highlighted key public welfare schemes such as:
- PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme
- Seva Setu initiative
- CM Helpline 1076
- Electricity bill settlement schemes
Focus on Capital Investment and Infrastructure Growth
Housing and Environment Minister O.P. Choudhary stated that the Housing Board has been restructured into an Infrastructure Development Board to accelerate capital projects in the state.
He added that future housing projects will be launched only after ensuring sufficient bookings, which will help reduce financial risks and improve resource utilization.
Demand-Based Development Model Going Forward
Board Chairman Anurag Singh Dev said the organization will now focus on demand-driven, high-quality, and financially viable projects.
He emphasized that the new working model will ensure better financial management and contribute significantly to the state’s infrastructure development goals.
The Nava Raipur housing fair marked a significant step toward modernizing Chhattisgarh’s housing ecosystem. With a new logo, restructuring of the housing board, and emphasis on financial discipline and demand-based projects, the state aims to strengthen affordable housing and infrastructure development in the coming years.
