Pithampur: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated the fourth manufacturing unit of Kisan Irrigation and Infrastructure Limited at the Pithampur Industrial Area in Dhar district, highlighting the region’s growing importance as a major industrial hub of the state.
The Chief Minister said that Pithampur has emerged as a key centre of Madhya Pradesh’s industrial strength, where companies are contributing towards investment growth, employment generation and technological advancement.
New Manufacturing Unit to Boost Irrigation and Industrial Development
Addressing the inauguration programme, CM Mohan Yadav said the expansion of industries in Madhya Pradesh is not only supporting economic growth but also contributing to overall social development.
He said:

- Modern technology will help farmers improve agricultural productivity.

CM Yadav highlighted the importance of advanced irrigation systems such as:

During his visit, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inspected the newly established manufacturing unit and reviewed the advanced machinery being used for pipe production.
He appreciated the company’s efforts in the fields of:
- Agriculture technology.
- Irrigation solutions.
- Water conservation.
- Infrastructure development.
The Chief Minister also performed a traditional prayer ceremony at the Shiv Temple located inside the factory premises before the inauguration.

Kisan Irrigation Operates Five Manufacturing Units Across India
Company Managing Director Kunal Agrawal informed that Kisan Irrigation and Infrastructure Limited was established nearly 40 years ago.
Currently, the company operates five manufacturing units, including:
- Four units located in Pithampur.
- One additional unit elsewhere.
The company manufactures a wide range of products including:
- PVC pipes.
- HDPE pipes.
- CPVC and UPVC pipes and fittings.
- Water storage tanks.
- Drip irrigation systems.
- Sprinkler irrigation systems.
The newly inaugurated fourth unit at Pithampur will focus on manufacturing:
- HDPE pipes.
- DWC pipes.
These products will support agriculture, irrigation and infrastructure development across the region.
Pithampur Emerging as a Major Industrial Destination
The Chief Minister said Pithampur is playing a significant role in strengthening Madhya Pradesh’s industrial landscape.
Industrial expansion in the region is expected to support:
