New Delhi: In a significant move to strengthen India’s mining sector and enhance energy security, CMPDI and NTPC Mining Limited have signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to accelerate technological advancements, improve mineral exploration, and promote sustainable mining practices across the country.

The agreement was signed on June 30, 2026, at the CMPDI headquarters in Ranchi in the presence of senior officials from both organizations. The partnership is expected to enhance project execution, improve operational efficiency, and support India’s long-term vision of energy self-reliance.
