Bilaspur: CMPDI Regional Institute-V, Bilaspur has strengthened maternal and child healthcare services by donating advanced medical equipment to the Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS), Bilaspur under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.
The initiative aims to improve diagnostic accuracy, patient monitoring, and overall healthcare delivery for mothers and newborns.
Advanced Medical Equipment for Obstetrics Department
Under the CSR support, CMPDI provided modern diagnostic and monitoring systems to the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at SIMS.
The equipment includes:
- 1 Ultrasonography (USG) machine
- 2 Foetal Heart Rate Monitoring machines
- 2 Central Monitoring systems
These advanced facilities are expected to significantly improve prenatal care, real-time monitoring of patients, and timely medical intervention.

MoA Handed Over in Presence of District Administration
The Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) was formally handed over to SIMS management in the presence of Bilaspur District Collector Sanjay Agrawal.
On the occasion, the Collector also inaugurated the newly established sonography room at the hospital, marking another step toward improving diagnostic infrastructure in the region.
Medical professionals and officials present at the event appreciated CMPDI’s contribution to strengthening public healthcare services.
