What Is the BrahMos Block-III Missile
The BrahMos Block-III is a two-stage, solid-fuel, supersonic cruise missile jointly developed by India and Russia. Its key features include:
- Speed of Mach 2.8 to Mach 3.0.
- Strike range of 290–300 km.
- Warhead carrying capacity of up to 300 kg.
- Sea-skimming flight at around 10 metres above sea level.
- Steep-dive terminal attack capability.
- Fire-and-forget guidance system.
- Ability to engage both land and sea targets.
- Resistance to electronic jamming through advanced target acquisition.
