INS Nireekshak Arrives in Colombo

INS Nireekshak, a Diving Support and Submarine Rescue Vessel of the Indian Navy, arrived at the port of Colombo on April 21, 2026.

The ship was welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy following traditional naval customs. The visit is part of an operational turnaround and training deployment that will continue for several days.

The ship will participate in the 4th edition of IN-SLN DIVEX, a bilateral diving exercise scheduled from April 21 to April 27, 2026.
