New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has unveiled the official mascot ‘Mayur’ for the 22nd Commonwealth Table Tennis Championship 2026, marking a major milestone in the preparations for the international sporting event.
Inspired by India’s national bird, the peacock, the mascot represents the country’s rich cultural heritage, vibrant energy, and diversity. The championship will be held at the Thyagaraj Stadium, New Delhi, from July 27 to August 2, 2026, with participation expected from more than 25 Commonwealth countries.
