New Delhi: The Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) for the management of pest control services across the DFCCIL Complex.
The partnership brings together two major Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), with DFCCIL operating under the Ministry of Railways and CWC under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution.
The collaboration is aimed at ensuring professional and standardised pest control services while strengthening facilities management, operational efficiency and service quality across DFCCIL facilities.
DFCCIL and CWC Join Hands for Facilities Management
Under the MoU, CWC will provide pest management services across the DFCCIL Complex. The partnership is expected to bring a more structured and professional approach to pest control and facility maintenance.
The collaboration highlights the importance of inter-PSU cooperation in improving service delivery and ensuring better management of public sector facilities.
CWC Brings Over 60 Years of Pest Management Experience
CWC brings more than 60 years of experience in pest management services to the partnership.
As a Navratna PSU, CWC has developed expertise in providing professional pest control solutions and follows multiple recognised quality, security, environmental and occupational health standards.
CWC holds certifications including:
- ISO 9001 – Quality Management
- ISO 27001 – Information Security Management
- ISO 14001 – Environmental Management
- ISO 45001 – Occupational Health and Safety
- OHSAS standards
These certifications reflect CWC’s focus on maintaining professional standards across its service operations.
