EIL Celebrates 4th EIL–R&D Day at Gurugram, Showcases Focus on Innovation and Energy Technologies

Gurugram: Engineers India Limited (EIL) celebrated its 4th EIL–R&D Day at the EIL Gurugram Complex with great enthusiasm, underscoring the organisation’s strong focus on research, innovation, and technological excellence in the energy sector.

Event Inaugurated by C&MD EIL

The programme was inaugurated by Ms. Vartika Shukla, Chairman & Managing Director, EIL, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. She was joined by EIL’s Functional Directors, senior officials, and employees, reflecting the organisation-wide commitment to strengthening R&D capabilities.

Participation of Eminent Industry Dignitaries

The event was attended by several distinguished dignitaries from leading energy and research institutions, including Dr. Alok Sharma (Director–R&D, IOCL), Dr. Harender Singh Bisht (Director, CSIR–IIP), Shri Chandrasekhar N. (Executive Director & Head–R&D, BPCL), and Shri K. Naga Raja (Lead–Hydroprocessing & Residue Upgradation, HPCL). Their presence added significant value to the deliberations on innovation and technology development.

Focus on Future R&D Roadmap

Addressing the gathering, Ms. Shukla outlined EIL’s future R&D roadmap and emphasised the strategic importance of internationalising indigenous technologies to enhance India’s global competitiveness. She highlighted the need for collaborative innovation and adoption of advanced technologies to address evolving energy challenges.

Release of R&D Newsletter

On the occasion, EIL released the 10th edition of its R&D newsletter, “Srijan-Vidha,” showcasing the organisation’s ongoing research initiatives, technological advancements, and success stories in the field of energy and infrastructure.

Deliberations on Emerging Technologies

The distinguished speakers shared valuable insights on emerging technologies, ongoing R&D initiatives, and innovation-driven solutions across the energy sector. Discussions focused on sustainable processes, efficiency enhancement, and the critical role of R&D in supporting India’s energy transition.
