GAIL Launches Swachhata Pakhwada 2026 to Promote Cleanliness, Sustainability and Swachh Bharat Mission

New Delhi: GAIL (India) Limited has launched Swachhata Pakhwada 2026 with a pledge-taking ceremony at its Jubilee Tower corporate office in Noida. The campaign was inaugurated on July 1, 2026, with the participation of employees, contract workers, apprentices, and senior management officials.

The initiative aims to promote cleanliness, hygiene, waste management awareness, and sustainable living practices among employees and the wider community.

The launch event reflects GAIL’s continued commitment towards the Government of India’s Swachh Bharat Mission and its efforts to contribute towards building a cleaner and healthier environment.

Employees Take Swachhata Pledge at Noida Corporate Office

During the inauguration ceremony, participants took the Swachhata pledge, committing themselves to maintaining cleanliness in their workplaces and surroundings.

The ceremony was led by the Executive Director (Operations & Maintenance) – Corporate Office and Officer-in-Charge, along with other senior officials of GAIL.

Through the pledge, employees promised to adopt responsible hygiene practices and encourage others to contribute towards cleanliness and environmental protection.

GAIL Organises Awareness Activities During Swachhata Pakhwada 2026

As part of the campaign, GAIL will conduct various awareness and employee engagement programmes to encourage active participation in cleanliness initiatives.

The key activities planned during the Swachhata Pakhwada campaign include:

  • Nukkad Natak (street plays): To spread awareness about cleanliness and sanitation practices among people.
  • FM Radio Campaigns: To reach a wider audience with messages related to hygiene and environmental responsibility.
  • Employee Engagement Programmes: Activities designed to motivate employees towards cleanliness and sustainable practices.
  • Awareness Drives: Initiatives promoting waste management, community participation, and eco-friendly habits.

These programmes are aimed at encouraging individuals to take meaningful steps towards maintaining cleaner surroundings.

Campaign Supports Swachh Bharat Mission and Sustainable Living Goals

Through Swachhata Pakhwada 2026, GAIL aims to strengthen awareness about cleanliness, responsible waste disposal, and environmental sustainability.
