The newly sanctioned projects—‘Narayani Path’ and ‘Ganga-Ambika Bhawani Path’—are expected to significantly improve regional mobility and development.

These projects were earlier proposed routes and have now been officially renamed and upgraded as part of the state’s broader infrastructure expansion plan.

This route is expected to:

  • Improve access to the famous Harihar Nath Temple in Sonpur
  • Connect the upcoming airport and Harihar Nath corridor
  • Enhance connectivity across Saran and nearby districts

The project is also expected to reduce travel time and improve logistics movement in the region.

Key objectives include:

  • IoT-based monitoring systems
  • Improved water supply quality and efficiency

This move is expected to enhance rural drinking water services significantly.

Paperless Registration System to Improve Transparency

The government has approved the Bihar Registration Rules 2026, introducing a fully paperless registration system.

Key changes include:

  • Elimination of physical stamp papers
  • Use of e-stamp codes for payments
  • Digital documentation through e-filing and e-signature

The reform aims to increase transparency, reduce delays, and simplify public services.
