Gujarat: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated a new campus of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Vidya Mandir, designed to combine CBSE-based modern education with value-based learning.
The institution will integrate yoga, meditation, pranayama, and mantra chanting with academic studies, aiming to build an inclusive learning environment rooted in both tradition and modern education.
Focus on Holistic Student Development
The new campus will offer specialized academies to support overall student growth, including:
- Sports Academy
- Performing and Creative Arts Academy (music, dance, theatre)
- Technology and Innovation Academy
- Business Academy
These facilities are designed to develop leadership skills, creativity, innovation, and physical fitness among students.
CM Highlights Role of Values in Education
Speaking at the event, CM Bhupendra Patel said that responsible citizens are shaped when education is combined with values, spirituality, and modern knowledge.
He expressed confidence that institutions like Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Vidya Mandir will prepare students for emerging opportunities in technology and innovation, especially as the Sanand region develops into a semiconductor hub.
Gujarat’s ₹63,000 Crore Education Push Under Gyan Shakti Initiative
Highlighting the state’s education focus, the Chief Minister said Gujarat has allocated ₹63,000 crore under the ‘Gyan Shakti’ initiative to strengthen the foundation of a “Viksit Gujarat”.
He also referred to key schemes such as:
- Namo Lakshmi Scheme
- Namo Saraswati Vigyan Sadhana Scheme
These programs aim to promote girls’ education and strengthen scientific learning in the state.
Promotion of Innovation and Future Skills
The Chief Minister said the new campus will help students develop skills required for future industries, especially in technology-driven sectors.
He noted that Sanand is emerging as a semiconductor manufacturing hub, and institutions like this will prepare students for global opportunities.
Appreciation for Intuition Process and Value Education
CM Patel praised the “Intuition Process” demonstration presented by students, appreciating efforts to promote discipline, awareness, and inner development through yoga and knowledge.
He said such initiatives are important in the age of social media to build focus and mental strength among students.

The Chief Minister expressed confidence that the institution will play a key role in shaping future generations aligned with the vision of a developed India by 2047.
He said education combined with values will help build strong character and national development.
