Ranchi: Railway passengers in Jharkhand are set to receive upgraded travel facilities as the redeveloped Muri and Piska railway stations under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme will be inaugurated on July 17, 2026.
The two stations, located under the Ranchi Division of South Eastern Railway, have been transformed with modern passenger amenities and improved infrastructure as part of Indian Railways’ initiative to develop world-class railway stations across the country.
South Eastern Railway DRM Invites CM Hemant Soren for Inauguration Ceremony
Ahead of the inauguration, South Eastern Railway Ranchi Division DRM K.N. Singh met Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren at the Jharkhand Secretariat and handed over the official invitation for the ceremony.
According to the information released by the Chief Minister’s Office (Team PRD), the meeting focused on coordination regarding development works and improvements in railway passenger facilities.
During the meeting, DRM K.N. Singh also briefed the Chief Minister about the modern facilities added at Muri and Piska stations after redevelopment.
