New Delhi: World Habitat Day 2026 was celebrated at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, in the presence of Tokhan Sahu, Minister of State (MoS), Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA). The event brought together senior government officials, representatives of the Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO) and United Nations officials to mark the occasion.
The programme highlighted the importance of housing and urban development and provided a platform for showcasing creative perspectives on habitat-related issues through an exhibition of award-winning paintings. Special publications were also released during the event.
