On February 27th, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) mandated the transfer of one AGMUT cadre IAS and one IPS officer to the Jammu & Kashmir UT. Via a directive, the MHA repatriated the 1996-batch IAS officer, Mr. Chandraker Bharti, and the 2008-batch IPS officer, Mr. Tejinder Singh, from their central deputation by awarding them new designations in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Mr. Bharti had served as Additional Secretary in the Home Department, MHA, and Mr. Singh held charge as the DIG at the National Investigation Agency.
