Jaspreet Kaur, a 2013 batch IAS officer from the Manipur cadre, has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Environment, Forest, & Climate Change (MoEF&CC). The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) issued an order on November 18, 2024, confirming the appointment under the central staffing scheme.
Ms. Kaur will serve in this role for a tenure of four years or until further instructions, whichever comes earlier.
