The Gujarat government has relieved senior IAS officer Manish Bhardwaj from the responsibilities he was handling in the state for his central deputation. Additionally, the state government has reassigned Mr. Bhardwaj’s duties to CV Som. Furthermore, the government has issued transfer orders for two other IAS officers.

IAS Manish Bhardwaj, a 1997 batch officer of Gujarat cadre, who held the position of Principal Secretary in the Narmada (Narmada), Water Resources, Water Supply, and Kalpsar Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar, has been transferred. His services have been made available to the Government of India for appointment as Deputy Director General (DDG) at the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), a body under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology.

IAS CV Som, a 1990-batch officer of Gujarat cadre, Additional Chief Secretary of the Narmada, Water Resources, Water Supply & Kalpsar Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar, will take on the additional role of Principal Secretary in the same department.
