At a time when the second dose of Covid vaccine is being given to people all around the country, an IAS officer came in contact with the virus even after taking the second dosage on 8 March. Mr. Yashwant Kumar who is currently serving as the District Collector of Janjgir-Champa district took the second dosage of Covidshield vaccine on 8 March 2021.
While speaking to media, Mr. Kumar said that he has tested positive after getting the dosage on 8 March. He further said that the vaccine effect starts after 14 days and also appealed to the people who came in contact with him lately, to get a Covid test and avoid irrelevant rumours.
