IFFCO-MC Launches India’s First 9(3) Patented Fungicide ‘Mitsuki’, Unveils NexaWet at SwarnArambh 2026

IFFCO-MC Crop Science launched its first 9(3) patented fungicide, Mitsuki, and introduced NexaWet, a citrus peel extract-based silicone adjuvant, during its flagship SwarnArambh 2026 event in Chandigarh.

Chandigarh: IFFCO-MC Crop Science Pvt. Ltd. has entered a new phase of agricultural innovation with the launch of Mitsuki, the company’s first 9(3) patented fungicide, and NexaWet, an advanced citrus peel extract-based silicone adjuvant, at its inaugural flagship product launch event, SwarnArambh 2026 – Marching Towards a New Golden Decade.

Held on August 3, 2026, the event brought together more than 350 participants, including leaders from the cooperative movement, global technology partners, agribusiness stakeholders, channel partners, media representatives and members of the farming community.

Grand Launch in Presence of Cooperative Leaders

The event was inaugurated by Shri Dileep Sanghani, Chairman of IFFCO and IFFCO-MC, in the presence of several senior dignitaries from the cooperative and agricultural sectors.

Representing IFFCO-MC, CEO Shri Manoj Varshney, COO Shri Santosh Shukla, Head of Procurement Miki Hirose, and the company’s senior leadership welcomed the dignitaries.

Mitsuki: Patented Fungicide for Paddy Protection

The centrepiece of the event was the launch of Mitsuki, IFFCO-MC’s first 9(3) patented fungicide, developed using a patented combination of Thiophanate Methyl and Picoxystrobin.

According to the company, the fungicide is designed to provide effective control against major paddy diseases, including:

  • Sheath Blight
  • Blast
  • Grain Discoloration

The product aims to improve crop health and productivity by offering advanced disease management solutions for rice growers.

NexaWet to Improve Spray Efficiency

IFFCO-MC also introduced NexaWet, an advanced Citrus Peel Extract-Based Silicone Adjuvant developed to enhance the effectiveness of crop protection products.

The company said NexaWet improves:

  • Spray coverage
  • Droplet spreading
  • Adhesion on plant surfaces
  • Absorption and uptake of crop protection chemicals

These features are expected to enhance the performance and efficiency of pesticides and fungicides while improving overall crop protection.

Chairman Highlights Innovation-Driven Agriculture

Addressing the gathering, Shri Dileep Sanghani emphasized that innovation must remain central to the future of Indian agriculture.

The launch of Mitsuki and NexaWet marks the beginning of a new chapter in our journey to empower farmers with world-class crop protection solutions,” he said.

IFFCO-MC CEO Shri Manoj Varshney described SwarnArambh 2026 as more than just a product launch event.

He said the introduction of Mitsuki and NexaWet reflects the company’s continued focus on technology-driven, farmer-centric solutions.

According to him, IFFCO-MC will continue leveraging advanced technologies and global partnerships to deliver innovative crop protection products that create greater value for Indian farmers.
