New Delhi: Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has partnered with TVS Motor Company to strengthen last-mile LPG cylinder delivery across India through cleaner and more efficient commercial mobility solutions. The collaboration aims to improve delivery efficiency, reduce operational costs for LPG distributors, and support India’s clean transportation goals.
Indian Oil and TVS Motor Sign MoU for Sustainable LPG Transportation
Indian Oil Corporation and TVS Motor Company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Coimbatore on July 8, 2026. The agreement marks the beginning of a long-term partnership focused on modernizing LPG distribution through advanced cargo mobility solutions.
Under this collaboration, TVS Motor will support Indian Oil’s network of more than 13,000 LPG distributors by providing TVS King Kargo HD cargo vehicles for doorstep LPG cylinder deliveries.

TVS King Kargo HD Vehicles to Improve LPG Delivery Efficiency
As part of the agreement, TVS Motor will supply its TVS King Kargo HD range for LPG cylinder transportation. These commercial vehicles are designed to offer better reliability, improved operational efficiency, and enhanced performance for last-mile cargo movement.
The initiative is expected to help LPG distributors:
- Improve delivery productivity
- Reduce fuel and maintenance expenses
- Lower carbon emissions
- Improve fleet utilization
- Achieve a lower total cost of ownership
The first phase of deployment will begin with selected Indian Oil LPG distributors, followed by expansion across more locations in the coming months.

The TVS King Kargo HD vehicles are developed for business applications and are expected to provide practical, efficient, and sustainable transportation solutions for LPG cylinder deliveries.
