The Election Commission of India (ECI) ordered new postings for two IPS officers -Mr. Jaskaran Singh and Mr Narinder Bhargav on administrative grounds. The order for their posting was dated 27 March, 2024.
JaaMr Jaskaran Singh, who is an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of 1998 batch, has been posted as Additional General of Police (ADGP) in Punjab.
Mr. Narinder Bhargav, also an IPS officer, has been posted as the Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) in Vigilance Bureau, Ludhiana.
He has also been given an additional duty as the Additional DIG NRI in Ludhiana.
