In yet another major bureaucratic reshuffle in Madhya Pradesh before the implementation of the code of conduct for the Lok Sabha elections 2024, the Mohan Yadav led state government has transferred and posted 47 IPS officers across the state.
The government has also transferred 37 IAS officers across the state, just few hours before issuing the order of transferring IPS officers.

In another order issued late on Friday night, the state government transferred two IPS officers. While 29 officers of the State Police Service have also been transferred.
1989 batch senior IPS officer Govind Pratap Singh has been made the Director General of Police of the Jail Department.
While 1992 batch IPS officer Pawan Srivastava has been given the responsibility of Vigilance Department at Police Headquarters, Bhopal.
2009 batch IPS officer Navneet Bhasin has been sent as Ujjain DIG. Omprakash Tripathi has been given the command of DIG Bhopal Rural, on the post of DIG at Police Headquarters, Bhopal.
Bhopal Rural DIG, Ms Monika Shukla, an IPS officer of 2009 batch, has been attached to the police headquarters.
DIG Home Guard and 2009 batch IPS officer Mahesh Chandra Jain has been made DIG of Narcotics Department, Indore.
IPS Saket Prakash Pandey has been sent as DIG Rewa.
DIG Chhatarpur and 2009 batch IPS officer Amit Sanghi has been transferred to DIG Bhopal SAF.
Khandwa DIG Mr Virendra Kumar Singh, also an IPS officer of 2009 batch, has been given responsibility at the police headquarters. Similarly, DIG Prashant Khare (2009 batch) from Bhopal has been sent as DIG Narmadapuram.
