Three senior (DG level) IPS officers have been placed on the “offer list” awaiting central deputation. These officers are Mr. Amrit Mohan Prasad (1989 batch Odisha cadre officer), Ms. Renuka Mishra (1990 batch Uttar Pradesh cadre), and Mr. Alok Ranjan (1991 batch Madhya Pradesh cadre). Officer Prasad is presently posted as the DG of Prisons, and Director of Correctional Services. Officer Mishra is the incumbent Chairperson of the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Board.
