Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on August 12 announced that the state will ban the sale of analogue paneer and promote paneer and other products made from natural milk.
Speaking to the media, Yadav said the government had decided to discourage the sale of analogue paneer in the state and would take steps towards imposing a ban on it.
CM Says Natural Paneer Will Be Promoted
Yadav said Madhya Pradesh would focus on products made from natural milk and seek to build the state’s identity around its dairy products.
“We have decided to discourage the sale of analogue paneer in Madhya Pradesh. We will impose a ban on it.”

The Chief Minister also said the state would not promote activities involving the sale of analogue paneer.
Government Focuses on Milk Production
The announcement comes as the Madhya Pradesh government is also focusing on increasing milk production in the state.
Yadav said the government was working towards expanding milk production and promoting natural dairy products.
