Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav Reduces Convoy Vehicles After PM Modi’s Fuel Saving Appeal

Bhopal: In a major move promoting fuel conservation and administrative simplicity, Mohan Yadav has announced a reduction in the number of vehicles in his official convoy. The decision comes in response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal to reduce fuel consumption in the national interest.

The Madhya Pradesh government has also issued official guidelines directing ministers and newly appointed public representatives to avoid unnecessary vehicle usage and maintain simplicity during official programs.

CM Says Madhya Pradesh Is Committed to National Interest

Speaking about the decision, CM Mohan Yadav said Madhya Pradesh is fully committed to reducing petrol and diesel consumption in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal.

He stated that only minimum vehicles necessary for security arrangements would be included in his motorcade during official visits.

The Chief Minister also urged citizens across the state to adopt public transport wherever possible, emphasizing that “national interest comes first.”

Ministers Asked to Follow Simplicity and Fuel-Saving Measures

The state government has requested all ministers to avoid large convoys and unnecessary vehicle movement during official travel.

Additionally, newly appointed chairpersons and office bearers of government corporations and boards have been instructed to take charge in a simple manner without organizing vehicle rallies or large public displays.

The government believes these measures will help promote responsible fuel usage, reduce unnecessary expenditure, and send a positive message about environmental responsibility and administrative discipline.
