New Delhi: Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) has announced the appointment of Praveer Kumar Srivastava as its new Managing Director, marking a major leadership transition aimed at strengthening the company’s future growth and sustainability strategy.
He officially assumed charge on April 30, 2026, succeeding Ashu Shinghal, who stepped down on the same day after a notable tenure.

Currently serving as Executive Director (Western Region), he has been overseeing one of India’s most critical gas pipeline networks.

- Leading the development of Strategy 2030 roadmap
- Driving the company’s Net Zero Action Plan

- India’s first Hydrogen Blending Pilot Project
- Development of Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM)-based green hydrogen facilities
