The Maharashtra government has appointed Mr. Abhinav Goel, a 2016-batch IAS officer and the current Hingoli Collector, as the new Municipal Commissioner of Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC). Mr. Goel, an engineer by qualification from Uttar Pradesh, has previously served as the Collector of Dhule.

His appointment comes following the transfer of Ms. Indurani Jakhar, a 2016-batch IAS officer, who has been posted as the Collector of Palghar.
In a series of administrative reshuffles, Mr. Sanjay Katkar, a 2014-batch IAS officer and former Mira Bhayander Commissioner, has been named the Managing Director of Maharashtra Information Technology Corporation in Mumbai. Meanwhile, Mr. C.K. Dange, a 2010-batch IAS officer, has been posted as the Managing Director of the Maharashtra State Fisheries Development Corporation.
Additionally, Ms. Anita Meshram, a 2015-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Zilla Parishad in Akola, while Ms. Ayushi Singh, a 2019-batch IAS officer, has taken over as the Additional Tribal Commissioner in Nagpur.
