In a major administrative reshuffle, the central government has transferred and posted 17 IAS officer on additional secretary-level posts. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment to Additional Secretary-level posts. Meanwhile, eleven officers have received in-situ up-gradation to the level of Additional Secretary.

M.P. Tangirala (IP&TA&FS:1990) has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of Financial Services. Presently, he is posted in the cadre.
Trishatjit Sethi (IPoS:1990) has been appointed as Director General (Training), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary. Presently, he is serving as CVO, National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd.
Ashok Kumar Kaluaram Meena (IAS:1993:OR) has been appointed as Chairman & Managing Director, Food Corporation of India in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary. Presently, he is posted in the cadre state of Odisha.
Rajesh Kumar Sinha (IAS:1994:KL) has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways. Presently, he is posted in the cadre state of Kerala.
Satendra Singh (IAS:1995:JH) has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat. Presently, he is serving as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers.
Piyush Goyal (IAS:1994:NL), Additional Secretary, Department of Home, Ministry of Home Affairs, has been CEO, NATGRID, Ministry of Home Affairs in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary.
Praveen Mal Khanooja (IA&AS:1994), Director General, Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
Longjam Siddhartha Singh (IA&AS:1994) has been appointed as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Defence. Presently, he is serving as Joint Secretary, Department of Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports.
Partha Sarathi Das (IA&AS:1994), Joint Secretary, Department of Food & Public Distribution, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, has neem appointed as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Department of Posts.
Pankaj Kumar Singh (IDAS:1994), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, has been appointed as Additional Secretary, GST Council Secretariat, Department of Revenue.
Ms. Maninder Kaur Dwivedi (IAS:1995:CG) has been appointed as Managing Director, Small Farmers’ Agri-Business Consortium, Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary. Presently, she is serving in the cadre state of Chhattisgarh.
Ms. Archana Varma (IAS:1995:CG) has been appointed as Mission Director, National Water Mission, Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary. Presently, she is posted in the cadre state of Assam.
Chandra Bhushan Kumar (IAS:1995:AGMUT) has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. Presently, he is serving as Deputy Election Commissioner, Election Commission of India.
Rahul Singh (IAS:1996:BH), Joint Secretary, Department of Personnel & Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of Personnel & Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.
Ms. Gitanjali Gupta (IAS:1996:UT) has been appointed as Managing Director, Tribal Co-operative Marketing Development Federation of India, Ministry of Tribal Affairs in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary. Presently, she is serving as CVO, Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd., Ministry of Railways.
Chandraker Bharti (IAS:1996:AGMUT) has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of Home, Ministry of Home Affairs vice Shri Piyush Goyal (IAS:1994:NL). Presently, he is serving as Joint Secretary, Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence.

Bhuvnesh Kumar (IAS:1995:UP) has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology.
M Maheshwar Rao (IAS:1995:KN) has been appointed as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Department of Space.
Shyamal Misra (IAS:1996:HY) has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of Home, Ministry of Home Affairs.
Puneet Kansal (IAS:1996:SK) has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat.
Nitesh Kumar Vyas (IAS:1996:MP) has been appointed as Deputy Election Commissioner, Election Commission of India in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary.
Rupinder Singh (IAS:1996:MH) has been appointed as Deputy Director General, Unique Identification Authority of India in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary.
Lav Aggarwal (IAS:1996:AP) has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare.
