Rajasthan: IPS Officers to be Honored with Medals on Independence Day Celebration

5 police officers will be honored with Ati Utkrisht and Utkrisht Seva Medals and 24 police officers with DGP discs in the state level program.

On the occasion of Independence Day celebration, 5 police officers will be honored with Ati Utkrisht and Utkrisht Seva Medals and 24 police officers with DGP discs in the state level program. Director General of Police Rajasthan will honor all the selected police officers after the hoisting of the flag.

24 IPS officers who have made significant contribution in the field of Sports/Training/Reserve Police Line and Law and Order/Crime and Intelligence have been selected for DGP Disc and for meritorious services by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India in the year 2018 and in the year 2020.

DGP (Intelligence) Rajasthan Umesh Mishra, Additional Director General (Armed Battalions) Janga Srinivas Rao, Additional DGP (Telecommunication & Technical and SCRB) Rajasthan Sunil Dutt, Additional DGP (Training) Rajasthan Sachin Mittal, Additional DGP (Reorganization and Rules) Rajasthan Sanjib Kumar Narjari, Inspector General Central Industrial Security Force Government of India New Delhi Jose Mohan, IGP (Vigilance) Rajasthan Jai Narayan, ACP, First Commissionerate of Police, Jaipur Ajay Pal Lamba and Deputy Inspector General of Police CID CB Jaipur Shri Rahul Prakash will be honoured with DGP Disc for the third time.

14 POLICE OFFICERS SELECTED FOR DGP DISC FOR THE FIRST TIME

Additional DGP cum Director Rajasthan Police Academy Jaipur Shri Rajiv Kumar Sharma, Additional DGP (Crime) Rajasthan Dr Ravi Prakash Mehrda, Additional DGP (Railways) Sanjay Kumar Agrawal, Additional DGP (Planning, Modernization and Welfare) Govind Gupta, Additional DGP (Personnel) Shri Anil Paliwal, Additional DGP (ACB II) Dinesh MN, IGP Jaipur Range Umesh Chandra Dutta, IGP (RPA) Jaipur Navjyoti Gogoi, IGP (Headquarters) Surendra Kumar Gupta, Deputy IG of Police ATS Anshuman Bhomia, Additional Commissioner of Police III Commissionerate of Police Jaipur Kailash Chand Vishnoi, Deputy Inspector General of Police CID CB Preeti Chandra, Director Intelligence Training Academy Jaipur Preeti Jain and Commandant 5th Battalion RAC Jaipur Dr Rameshwar Singh will be given this honor.

Inspector General of Police Headquarters Rajasthan Shri Surendra Kumar Gupta will be honored with Ati Utkrisht Seva Medal. Shri Gupta was selected for this post by the Union Home Ministry in the year 2018.

Additional Director General Police ATM and SOG Additional Director General Police Prisons Rajasthan Malini Agarwal, Inspector General of Police Jaipur Range Umesh Chandra Dutta and Deputy Commissioner of Police South Police Commissionerate Jaipur Yogesh Goyal will be honored with Utkta Seva Medal.

Among these, Shri Ashok Rathod, Smt. Malini Agarwal and Shri Yogesh Goyal were selected in the year 2018 and Shri Umesh Chandra Dutta in the year 2020 by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India for the Excellence Service Medal.
