Mumbai: Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL) has secured a Purchase Order worth ₹117.99 crore from Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Co. Ltd. (MSETCL) for an AI-based Comprehensive Infrasecure Project covering five substations.
The total order value is ₹117,99,71,564.90, approximately ₹117.99 crore, inclusive of 18% GST and other applicable duties.
The project involves the supply, installation and commissioning of AI-based infrastructure security solutions across the identified substations.
MDL Receives ₹117.99 Crore Purchase Order from MSETCL
The order has been awarded by MSETCL for deploying an AI-based comprehensive infrastructure security system at five substations.

No Related-Party Transaction Involved
MDL has clarified that the transaction does not involve any related-party relationship.
The company has confirmed that:
- The order has been awarded by a domestic entity.
- The promoter and promoter group have no interest in MSETCL.
- The transaction does not fall under related-party transactions.
This provides clarity on the nature of the business relationship between MDL and the awarding entity.
