Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that young people can create their identity not only in the state and country but across the world through their talent, intelligence, and dedication.
The Chief Minister made the remarks while addressing a talent felicitation programme organised by Navprayag Cultural and Social Development Committee, Bhopal, at the Hansdhwani Auditorium of Ravindra Bhawan, Bhopal.
A total of 591 talented individuals from the South-West Bhopal Assembly constituency were honoured for their achievements in education, sports, literature, art, and other fields.
Youth Talent Can Contribute to Nation Building: CM Yadav
Addressing the students and achievers, CM Mohan Yadav said that dedication, values, intelligence, and proper use of time help individuals achieve success and contribute to nation-building.
He encouraged young people to work hard and use their abilities to bring pride to Madhya Pradesh and India on global platforms.
The Chief Minister cited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s journey from a modest background to becoming a globally recognised leader as an inspiring example for students.
CM Highlights India’s Achievements Under PM Modi’s Leadership
Dr. Mohan Yadav highlighted several initiatives and achievements under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, including:
- India’s role in developing and providing vaccines during the COVID-19 pandemic
- Saving lives of citizens in India and other countries through vaccine support
- Expansion of the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system benefiting millions of people
He said these achievements reflect India’s growing global presence and capability.
Students and Achievers Recognised for Excellence
The Chief Minister congratulated all the awardees and said that talented individuals achieve success through perseverance, discipline, cultural values, and intellectual abilities.
He mentioned Chandni Vishwakarma of Bhopal, who secured the first position in the Class 12 merit list, as an example of exceptional achievement.
Dr. Yadav also recalled the contribution of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, who cleared the Indian Civil Service examination but chose the path of national service and sacrifice for India’s freedom movement.
591 Talents Honoured from South-West Bhopal Constituency
BJP MLA Bhagwandas Sabnani said that the talent felicitation programme has been organised continuously for the last three years.
He informed that:
- 350 talents were honoured in the first year
- 480 talents were honoured in the second year
- 591 talents are being honoured this year
Students who achieved:
- More than 85% marks in Class 10 and Class 12
- More than 75% marks in graduation and post-graduation
were recognised during the programme.
Apart from academics, achievers from sports, arts, and literature were also felicitated.
Achievers from Literature, Journalism, Acting and Sports Honoured
Several personalities and young achievers were recognised for their contributions in different fields.
Honourees included:
- Dr. Veena Sinha
- Preeti Khare
- Brajesh Rajput
- Sanjay Mehta
They were honoured for achievements in literature, journalism, and acting.
Sports achievers including Aastha Meena for water sports, along with Srishti Gupta, Shreya Mishra, and Shivaan Singh Sisodia, were also felicitated for their performances.
Programme Highlights Importance of Recognising Young Talent
The event was attended by Indian Institute of Information Technology Director Dr. Ashutosh Kumar Singh, Dr. Mini Mehra, programme coordinator Aarti Aneja, and other dignitaries.
CM Mohan Yadav appreciated the efforts of Navprayag Cultural and Social Development Committee for organising the programme and promoting young talent. The felicitation ceremony highlighted the importance of encouraging youth achievements and creating opportunities for talented individuals to contribute to society and national development.
