Sagar/Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on April 23 inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 98 development projects worth ₹58.46 crore in the Naryawali region of Sagar district.
During the event, he also inaugurated a modern Sandipani School, interacted with students, and guided them for a bright future. The event began with traditional rituals including lamp lighting and Kanya Pujan.
Focus on Education and Modern Sandipani Schools
CM Yadav highlighted that the state’s Sandipani Vidyalayas are competing with private schools, with government school students securing top positions in board examinations.
Key announcements in education included:
- Launch of a ₹27 crore Sandipani School in Naryawali
- New ITI building in Jarua Kheda worth ₹10 crore
- Hostel and residential facilities for students
- Proposed Rajya University in the name of Rani Avanti Bai
He also stated that meritorious students are being provided laptops and scooters by the state government.

Sharp Attack on Congress, Comparison with Mahabharata Reference
The Chief Minister strongly criticized the Congress party during his address, comparing it with the Kauravas from the Mahabharata and drawing parallels with the issue of women’s dignity.
He referred to the Parliament incident and said:
- Women’s respect has been historically ignored by opposition parties
- The government under PM Narendra Modi has focused on women empowerment
- Opposition parties opposed key women-centric reforms, including reservation policies
He urged women to remain aware and politically conscious, emphasizing that the government is committed to 33% reservation for women.
“Bundelkhand Will Never Face Water Scarcity Again”
A major highlight of the speech was the assurance on water availability for Bundelkhand.
CM Yadav said:
- The Ken-Betwa river linking project will transform the region
- Every sector, including agriculture and industry, will receive sufficient water
- Earlier migration due to water scarcity will now be eliminated
He described Bundelkhand as a land of bravery and sacrifice, now set for a new era of development.

Major Focus on Farmers and Agriculture Growth
CM Yadav reiterated the government’s commitment to farmer welfare, announcing several key measures:
- Electricity connection at just ₹5 for farmers
- Wheat procurement at ₹2625 per quintal, with future target of ₹2700
- Assurance to purchase every grain produced by farmers
- Priority procurement from small farmers first
He also emphasized support for soybean farmers through the Bhavantar scheme and encouraged diversification into dairy and animal husbandry.
Infrastructure and Industrial Development in Sagar
The Chief Minister highlighted rapid infrastructure growth in the region, including:
- Over 500 km of roads built in Bundelkhand since 2023
- 6 new industrial areas in Sagar district
- MSME cluster development
- Expansion of projects linked to Bina Refinery
- 100-bed hospital ward under construction
He also announced a ₹24 crore four-lane road project and a flyover in Makronia, along with irrigation and bridge development works.

Key New Announcements by CM
During the event, CM Mohan Yadav announced several additional initiatives:
- New technical courses in Jarua Kheda ITI based on industry needs
- Financial support for Karra Pur municipality development
- ₹25 crore allocation for two new bridges
- Improvement of Kadam medium irrigation project, benefiting 30,000 acres
- Renovation of Bamhori Tirahe road network

Strong Push for Rural Economy and Cooperative Growth
CM Yadav emphasized that the state government is working through 16 integrated departments to boost rural economy.
He said the focus areas include:
- Agriculture modernization
- Dairy development
- Cooperative sector expansion
- Income growth for farmers and rural communities

The Chief Minister concluded by stating that his government follows the principle of “what is promised is delivered”, reaffirming the commitment to transparent and result-oriented governance.
