Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has strongly condemned Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge over his controversial remark targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Chief Minister termed the statement inappropriate and called for an immediate public apology.
CM Mohan Yadav Calls Remark “Unacceptable”
Reacting sharply, Mohan Yadav said that he strongly condemns the statement made by Kharge and stressed that such remarks do not suit the dignity of senior political leaders. He urged Kharge to refrain from making similar comments in the future and to maintain responsible public discourse.
According to Yadav, the current political environment in India demands maturity and restraint from leaders, especially those holding key positions.
BJP Targets Congress Over Repeated Mistakes
The Chief Minister also criticized the Congress party, alleging that it has been लगातार making political errors that are costing it public trust. He advised Congress leaders to reflect on their past conduct and decisions.
Yadav referred to the period of MISA (Maintenance of Internal Security Act), stating that Congress has yet to apologize for its actions toward the opposition during that time.
Allegations of Supporting Divisive Elements
Mohan Yadav further accused Congress of encouraging divisive and separatist elements in the past. He described the alleged remark against Prime Minister Modi as “unfortunate” and damaging to the dignity of democratic politics.
He emphasized that calling the Prime Minister by such terms is unacceptable and undermines the seriousness of political dialogue.
“Congress and DMK Frustrated Ahead of Elections”
Taking a political dig, Yadav claimed that Congress and its ally Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) are frustrated due to electoral setbacks. He said such statements reflect desperation as elections approach.
