Panchkula: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Panchkula, has provided advanced medical equipment worth approximately ₹1.13 crore to the Government District Civil Hospital, Sector-06, Panchkula, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
The initiative is aimed at strengthening public healthcare infrastructure and improving diagnostic and critical-care facilities for people in Panchkula and surrounding areas.
BEL Hands Over Advanced Medical Equipment
The medical equipment was formally handed over by Ambrish Tripathi, Director (HR), BEL, and Manish Chetia, General Manager, BEL Panchkula.
The handover ceremony was held in the presence of Dr. Mukta Kumar, Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Panchkula District, along with senior officials from BEL and the Health Department.
The equipment provided by BEL includes:
- One Anaesthesia Workstation
- Micro PCR Diagnostic Machines

Anaesthesia Workstation to Strengthen Critical Care
The Anaesthesia Workstation is expected to enhance the hospital’s anaesthesia and critical-care capabilities.
The equipment will support medical teams in providing improved care during surgical procedures and other critical medical interventions.
Micro PCR Machines to Support Faster Diagnostics
The Micro PCR Diagnostic Machines will help strengthen the hospital’s molecular diagnostic capabilities.
The machines are expected to support faster molecular testing, enabling healthcare professionals to improve diagnostic efficiency and facilitate timely medical intervention.
BEL Highlights Focus on Public Healthcare
Speaking on the occasion, BEL Director (HR) Ambrish Tripathi said that strengthening public healthcare infrastructure is an important focus area of BEL’s CSR initiatives.
He highlighted the direct benefits of such CSR projects for citizens and emphasised the importance of supporting healthcare facilities that serve local communities.
