Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar has stressed the need for stronger collaboration between industries and the state’s young workforce to accelerate industrial development and create more employment and skill-building opportunities.
Gangwar made the remarks during his visit to CTC Precision Tools Private Limited in the Adityapur Industrial Area of Jamshedpur on Tuesday, where he reviewed the company’s operations and technical activities.
The Governor said the presence of modern industrial units adopting advanced technology and maintaining quality standards reflected Jharkhand’s potential to strengthen its industrial base.
“The presence of such a modern industrial unit in Jharkhand is a matter of satisfaction,” Gangwar said.
Focus on Technology and Quality
Gangwar highlighted the importance of technology-driven manufacturing in expanding the state’s industrial capabilities.

He said Jharkhand has significant scope for industrial development and that companies adopting modern production practices can contribute to the state’s broader economic growth.
“The state has immense potential for industrial development,” he said.
Connecting Industry With Local Youth
The Governor also underlined the need to connect industrial growth with the skills and capabilities of Jharkhand’s young population.
“The youth of Jharkhand possess immense talent and capabilities,” Gangwar said.
He said the expansion of industrial units could create opportunities not only for employment but also for developing industry-relevant skills among young people.
“The expansion of industrial units will create new opportunities for employment and skill development for young people,” he said.
Gangwar further called for closer coordination between industrial establishments and local youth, saying such engagement could help industries access a skilled workforce while creating greater opportunities for young people.
“Better coordination between industries and local youth could further accelerate the state’s industrial development,” the Governor said.
Technology, Quality and Employment
During the visit, Gangwar extended his best wishes to the management and employees of CTC Precision Tools and expressed confidence in the company’s continued development.
“I am confident that this unit will continue to make progress in the fields of technology, quality and employment,” he said.
The Governor’s visit comes against the backdrop of Adityapur’s importance as one of Jharkhand’s major industrial areas, with the state seeking to strengthen manufacturing, employment generation and skill development through greater industry participation.
